Historic importance:

Rajasthan’s history is deeply rooted in the legacy of Rajput kings who built grand palaces, fortresses, and temples, leaving behind an unparalleled architectural heritage. The state’s forts, including Amer, Mehrangarh, and Jaisalmer, are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Rajasthan was also a major player in the Indian independence movement and remains a symbol of India's royal past, with numerous princely states.
